- exported abroad.
- Sodium sulfate is an important industrial mineral in world commerce.
- Though chemically "a salt," sodium sulfate is relatively unknown by the
- end user. It is, however, an important raw material and ingredient in
- many varied and important industrial processes such as the detergent,
- glass, paper and textile industries.
