Welcome to CNR                                                                          Your Home for Natural Sodium Sulfate

There is a remarkable mining enterprise located in the vastness of the plains of
western Texas that has produced the industrial mineral, sodium sulfate,
continuously since 1933. The production facility, which is located at
Cedar Lake in Gaines County, Texas, is owned and operated by Cooper
Natural Resources of Tulsa, Oklahoma. This important industrial mineral is
supplied to many varied industries throughout the U.S. and some is
exported abroad.

Sodium sulfate is an important industrial mineral in world commerce.
Though chemically "a salt," sodium sulfate is relatively unknown by the
end user. It is, however, an important raw material and ingredient in
many varied and important industrial processes such as the detergent,
glass, paper and textile industries.
