Gregory T. Cooper

Chairman, President, Chief Executive Officer

Gregory T. Cooper is chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Cooper Natural Resources, Inc.; a position he has held since 1996. Before joining CNR, Cooper served as president and chief executive officer of LCI, Ltd. (1994-1996), Brenntag Southwest (1992-1994), and Conquest Chemicals, Inc. (A Stinnes Company) (1989-1992).

Mr. Cooper's chemical industry experience includes 11 years of leadership with Chemtech Industries, Inc., beginning in 1978. Before his role as the company's executive vice president and chief operating officer (1987-1989) he served in various capacities including vice president and general manager of the distribution division (1986-1987), director of sales and marketing of the manufactured products division (1984-1986), the distribution division's business director (1981-1984), marketing manager (1979-1981) and product manager (1978-1979).

Cooper's career encompasses sales and marketing experience with Pennwalt Corporation (Atochem) (1970-1978) and roles within Monsanto Company in process research engineering (1968-1970) and analytical chemistry (1965-1966).

He served in the United States Marine Corps.

Mr. Cooper attended Meramec College and Washington University (Major: Chemical Engineering) in St. Louis, Missouri, and the Mahler School of Advanced Management and Finance in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
