Improved facilities…world class standards…premium grade sodium sulfate make Cooper Natural Resources the industry-wide distribution point for customers, suppliers, and producers of sodium sulfate by-products.
The Ozark Division is a trusted source for naturally pure and high quality sodium sulfate with various consumer and multiple end uses.
Since 1996, Cooper Natural Resources (CNR) of Fort Worth, Texas has extracted the multi-purpose chemical from a reservoir of salt water beneath the surface of Cedar Lake.
At the source, under favorable geological and climate conditions present in western Texas, sodium sulfate occurs naturally from mineral deposits. Typically sparse rainfall concentrates brine in basins such as Cedar Lake creating a brine source that is over nine times the salinity of seawater.
While unknown to the end user, sodium sulfate is an important industrial mineral with an ongoing impact on world commerce. Sodium sulfate is used in the production of laundry and dishwashing detergent, rug and room deodorizers, textile processing, pulp and paper, and flat glass manufacturing.
The division also exports a critical supply of sodium sulfate to emerging markets in Mexico and subsequent distribution points throughout South America. A Mexico City office oversees this emerging market.
The Ozark Division of CNR is the dependable production source of industry ready sodium sulfate.
