Job Duties - Welder
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools. Produce metal products according to employer specifications. Use multiple welding machines to repair and maintain metal equipment and structures of various sizes. Read and interpret diagrams, sketches and blueprints to determine operations, required materials and timeframes for projects.
Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment. Understand and implement personal and company safety measures by wearing specialized goggles, helmets and gloves. Communication skills are essential to work with team members and converse with customers and clients.
Plant Operator
Duties And Responsibilities
Monitoring equipment, making adjustments to process controls, taking routine readings, performing preventive and minor maintenance, troubleshooting operational problems, and handling paperwork associated with regulatory permitting in order to improve plant system operation/uptime and reduce total operating costs.
Required Qualifications:
- At least High School grad or G.E.D.
- 3+years preferred with a responsible attitude for personal safety and the safety of co-workers, contractors &the public.
- Ability to work 12 hour, rotating shifts.
- Basic knowledge of plant processes.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA 1910.119.
- Knowledge of technical math skills.
- Capable of performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs on all required plant equipment.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively monitor plant equipment and make adjustments to processes and controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot operational problems.
- Ability to handle upsets, startups, and shutdowns to plant systems and processes
- Knowledge of DCS systems (Delta V).
- Ability to perform lab tests such as cooling tower and R/O unit water tests and SRU chemical tests.

MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST
Cooper Natural Resources is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to perform a variety of work in general maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at various facilities/sites to include electrical, plumbing, welding, and painting tasks. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Repair and treat structures such as floors, sinks, walls, and roofs;
- Perform minor troubleshooting repairs
- Report mechanical malfunctions to appropriate party for action.
- Move and assist in moving equipment at various facilities/sites.
- Oversee and execute maintenance projects within schedule and budget utilizing work window allowed by operating consideration of activities.
- Perform inspections of equipment and facilities including but not limited to overhead contact wire systems, traction power substations, building electrical/mechanical, communication systems.
- Submit verbal and written reports of inspection findings to Maintenance Manager/Plant Manager.
- Recommend and execute maintenance schedules and supervisory procedures.
- Exercise discretion in identifying projects requiring the services of a higher skilled crafts person.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work sites.
- Investigate, analyze, and make recommendations for correcting potential safety problems.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and rules.
- Recommend safety procedures and standard practices to ensure maintenance activities precede safely and efficiently.
Electrical
Perform basic electrical installation and repair work in wiring for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, power circuits and appliances; repairs lighting systems; inspects electrical systems for unsafe conditions.
Plumbing/Painting
Identify and perform basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks; open clogged lines and drains; replace washers and other minor parts; applies and prepares various surfaces for paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, or stain; repairs wall coverings
Welding
Responsible for various types of welding preparation, from welding and weld finishing operations, and welding equipment maintenance. Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum and some exotic materials. Verify welding results by inspecting and testing welds. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
Required Qualifications:
- Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools; operate a forklift; read blueprints; review and identify projects needed to be serviced by outside contractors.
- Written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Ability to perform maintenance repair, troubleshooting, rebuilds and overhaul of LRT systems equipment and materials.
- Ability to analyze malfunctions in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electric equipment and determines repair and performs system fabrication and assembly tasks.

- Ability to maintain accurate records and correctly use test equipment.

Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver Minimum Hiring Criteria
- Minimum 25 years of age
- 2 years verifiable tractor trailer driving experience, or: 1-year oil field driving or: 1-year verifiable tanker driving
- Current Class A CDL with Hazardous Material & tanker endorsements
- No drug charge convictions in the last 5 years or more than 1 conviction in the last 10 years
- No DWI, DUI convictions in the last 5 years, or more than 1 conviction in the last 10 years
- Felonies are evaluated on a case by case basis; no violent felonies, no crimes that require registration as a sexual offender
- Acceptable MVR: no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years
- Acceptable accident experience: no more than one at fault vehicle accident in 5 years; No more than 2 accidents, regardless of fault, in 10 years
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Steady work history. No more than 4 employers in the past 2 years.
- No prior positive or decline of DOT drug test result within the last 5 years
- Acceptable roadside inspection performance / PSP report

BAGGING SPECIALIST
SUMMARY
The Bagger Operator is responsible for placing products safely and effectively in appropriate packages, keeping up with product output, maintaining a smooth and timely production line and ensuring the packaging equipment stays in good working condition. All procedures and practices used are grounded in standards, regulations and laws addressing safety and quality, as well as environmental safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Maintains an understanding of the production schedule for each shift and how it influences the work to be done
- Understands the packaging equipment being used and how to adjust when needed. Identifies packaging defects quickly and makes adjustments immediately
- Cleans and uses equipment effectively assuring that it remains in good working order
- Works with Maintenance Manager to plan for the preventive maintenance and protection of the equipment
- Checks all packages for correct dates, codes, weights and cut lines and intervenes immediately
- Remains current in training expectations
- Keeps work environment clean, safe and positive
QUALIFICATIONS:

Duties and Responsibilities
Drivers report directly to Lead Driver/Dispatch depending on location. Perform a variety of duties in the operation of hauling loads in yard or field. Consists of chalking truck when loading and unloading. Wearing proper PPE. Perform pre and post trip inspections.
Required Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: Graduation from high school or GED equivalent, one (1) year relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job. Must have CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.
- Control documentation and coordinate with Administration Staff.
- Adhere to CNR Quality Manual, Procedures and Work instructions.

- No Major violations in the past five years (DWI, Unlawful use, Drag Racing, Speed contest, Wrong Way, Reckless operation).
- No more than two minor violations in the past three years or no more than one chargeable accident with one minor violation in the past three years and no at fault accidents for truckers.
- All drivers operating light to medium units must be 21or older.
- All drivers operating heavy and extra heavy trucks or tractor trailer units must be 23 with at least 2 years of experience driving similar vehicles
- All drivers must have a valid license for class of vehicle being operated. Class A CDL and tanker endorsement.
- All accidents are to be considered at fault unless a police report is provided with the initial application showing driver “not at fault” or not contributing to the occurrence.
- Physician’s statement must be obtained on drivers 65 years of age or older.
